Actually what I was trying to describe is an online clearinghouse for retirees that want to share a home, with the homeowner receiving rent from the other retiree. Both would gain financially, the renter would free up equity if a home that they sell, and the local government benefits from having one less home with subsidized property taxes. The retirees that share the home would also benefit from companionship, shared housework and meal prep.
