@unknown: been thinking about a moonshot idea: truly generative UI. the fact that app UIs are static is kinda crazy. every pixel is effectively hardcoded and the only thing that changes on the screen is data. why do me and millions other twitter users have the exact same nav bar when the ways we use this app is vastly different? imagine if the app’s UI was truly generative based on the user’s behaviors. users who post a lot vs those who never post would have different UIs, optimized for their core usage behaviors. my bet is in 5 years, we’re gonna look back on these vertical scrolling social feeds, static nav bars, static app open screens and think that was super stone age.
