A satirical generator that creates absurdly mismatched marketing stunts for boring products
@unknown: @im_roy_lee Virality is reproducible product-led growth. What youβre describing is a media bump. The former has compounding benefits to a product. The latter is just short-term spurts of attention that need to be remanufactured every time. @unknown: viral spikes can create awareness, and over time i believe it can work but only if the impression of the brand remains polished, untarnished by the stunts, without alienating any audiences cluely definitely got into the consciousness, but ppl perceive roy as a showman β which can produce negative sentiment about the actual product eg i've never tried cluely but my perception is that it's built by a bunch of inexperienced boys who spend too much energy yapping and buying cars and throwing parties and filming short-form so the product has probably suffered this may not be true! it's possible cluely is a great product. but that's the aura @vgrichina: @0thernet Cruely problem is that product is so boring (meeting note taker) that their stunts are totally out of place. This style of marketing more likely to work for smth like gambling app
